Bio

With over two decades of experience embedding Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion strategies in both private and public sectors, I have successfully driven organizational excellence, earning recognition from prestigious Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion benchmarks. I am passionate about ensuring fairness and creating an inclusive culture for all.  

I have always been driven by a deep-seated passion for fairness and a commitment to creating equitable spaces. Growing up in a diverse family and community, I was exposed to a variety of cultures, perspectives, and experiences from an early age. This upbringing instilled in me a profound appreciation for diversity and a desire to advocate for those who are often marginalised.   

Throughout my career, I have been highly respected subject matter expert in the field of EDI. In my previous roles, I have successfully implemented strategic initiatives that have transformed organisational cultures and promoted inclusivity.  

I am an active member of several national and international EDI organisations. Through these affiliations, I stay abreast of the latest research, trends, and best practices in the field, bringing this knowledge back to UCA to inform and enhance the university's EDI efforts. I also have presented at conferences and workshops, sharing my expertise and insights with a broader audience.  

I believe that true inclusivity requires ongoing effort and a willingness to challenge the status quo. I am dedicated to leading this charge, ensuring that UCA remains a place where everyone feels valued and can thrive.
